A Short History of Circus della Morte
Circus della Morte started from the ashes of DFW's first sideshow, the Bizzaro Future Circus. With the sideshows namesake, Bizzaro, venturing out on his own to bring his brand of twisted magic to the masses, the remaining members decided to head in a different and darker direction. The new sideshow was renamed and began to carve a path as the longest running sideshow in North Texas.
The original lineup of Circus della Morte was John Chaos, Mr. N. Visible, Wicked Jello and Spider. We began working on the new show adding in new and original stunts. It was during the training for Human Chopping block that Kennie got recruited based on the fact he was the only one who could wield the machete correctly. The new sideshow was finally ready for their first show. That first show came at Division One in Ft. Worth in February 2005. John Chaos left early on, followed by Spider. Wicked Jello moved on a while later to be replaced with Abra Cadavra. This line up lasted a few years until Abra Cadavra left only to be replaced by our current Nurse Narcissa. Dr. Skotch then accepted our invitation as MC followed by gaining our first and only live musician Mike McNasty. The latest addition Charlie Tips joined in 2010 and that lineup continues today. |
